  • When does Falcon Aerolab meet?

    • Students attend AeroLab one day a week and will follow the school district’s academic calendar. Labs are scheduled from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays. Field trip days may adjust the daily schedule.

  • Where does Falcon AeroLab meet?

    • For the 2018/2019 school year, Falcon AeroLab will meet at Falcon Legacy Campus (11990 Swingline Rd Peyton, CO 80831)

  • What is the cost of attending Falcon Aerolab?

    • Falcon AeroLab is a tuition free publicly funded program. However, this means the student can not be enrolled in another public school option. There are lab fees of $350 per semester. These fees cover the cost of the RC aircraft and drone. These projects will go home with the student at the end of the semester.

  • What is the instructor to student ratio?

    • There may be as many as 36 students in the class but there will be multiple instructors working with the students. Class ratios will not exceed 12:1.

  • What do students need to bring with them?

    • Each student is responsible for bringing a sack lunch, notebook and writing instrument.

  • Is there homework?

    • Occasionally, students will be asked to do additional research on a topic of discussion. Homework is not a regular expectation of our program.

  • What curriculum does Falcon AeroLab use?

    • The lessons taught at Falcon AeroLab are created specifically for our students. They are designed to supplement and support home school instruction. The student is responsible for meeting all other academic requirements.

  • Is there a screening process for instructors?

    • Each instructor has passed a background check and submitted fingerprints in accordance to the Colorado Department of Education.
