Leon Lowman

Leon Lowman is an innovative leader and manager with broad experiences in building and leading high performing teams in multiple industries. He is experienced at developing and activating strategies to accelerate growth and maximize effectiveness of project delivery. He designs and implements complex technology project portfolios. He’s a USAF Academy graduate, Duke MBA, has been Vice President of Strategy and Content for Promise-keepers, Director of Business Development for Novient, Senior Marketing Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb and other healthcare related companies. 


 Dr. Terence Andre

Dr. Terence Andre is a Technical Director at Aptima, Inc. and brings more than 35 years of experience optimizing human and system performance through the use of human-systems integration (HSI) and systems engineering principles. He is a nationally recognized expert in training and education, having led teams developing learning strategy, curriculum, and learning solutions for government and Fortune 500 organizations and has a proven track record of leading diverse group of scientists and engineers in conducting leading-edge research in military and educational settings. Prior to joining Aptima, Dr. Andre had a long and distinguished career as a professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy and a scientist with the Air Force Research Laboratory. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering/Human Factors from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an MEd in Adult Learning, Training, and Development from Regis University, an MS in Industrial Engineering/Human Factors from California Polytechnic State University, and a BS in Behavioral Sciences from the Air Force Academy. Terence is married to Debbie and they have two married adult children, a son in high school, and five grandchildren.


Skip Smith

Skip leads the Aerospace Practice group at the Denver-based law firm of Sherman & Howard. He has 40 years’ experience in the aerospace industry and represents clients in nearly every segment of the industry, from large companies to startup ventures and from manufacturers to launch service providers. He helps national and international clients address legal matters ranging from the planning, purchasing, and operation of space assets to launch services, space insurance, government contracts, regulatory issues, and other matters. Skip is often called on for first-of-its-kind legal projects, and he represented Israeli Private Astronaut Eytan Stibbe, one of the private astronauts on the recent Axiom mission to the ISS – the first all-commercial mission to the ISS. He graduated from the Air Force Academy, George Washington University Law School, and has a doctorate in space law from McGill University. Skip is a former Air Force attorney who held several significant leadership positions during his Air Force career, including Director of Space Law at Air Force Space Command and Chief of Space Law for the Air Force.
