Meet the Team

Mark & Debbie - Founders

Serving as the cornerstone of Falcon AeroLab, Mark and Debbie continue working together to bring STEM opportunities to students across America, but they couldn’t do it without some help. Say hello to some of the other team members working hard to make Falcon AeroLab successful! without their participation, AeroLab wouldn’t be the organization it is today.


Sara Hurley -Director of operations

Sara brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, and an excitement for pioneering education. From Falcon AeroLab’s beginnings to its current standing, Sara has been intricately involved in every facet of its growth, from ideation to execution. This immersive experience has provided invaluable insights into the inner workings of the organization and a profound understanding of our mission and values.

After having spent several years living on a 70-acre farm in southeast Colorado, Sara and her family have recently transitioned from full-time farm life. Despite the change in scenery, their commitment to providing educational opportunities for rural Colorado students remains unwavering. Fostering inclusivity in rural communities with the belief that learning should be dynamic, engaging, and accessible to all, regardless of geographical barriers

Sara and her husband, Tim, have dedicated themselves to homeschooling their four children. Her unwavering commitment to children and learning has been a driving force throughout her life, shaping her approach to education and fostering an environment where curiosity thrives. 

She is honored to lead Falcon AeroLab  into the future, fueled by passion and purpose.


Brook LeoNard- Director of Strategy

Brook Leonard is a retired USAF Major General who last served as the Deputy Commander and Director of Operations of Combined Joint Task Force–Space Operations. He previously served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Space Command. A combat tested fighter pilot, he has commanded Fighter Wings in the Middle East, Korea and the largest fighter Wing in the world at Luke AFB, AZ. He was also Military Aide to the Secretary of the Air Force. 

In his Space jobs he was the principal advisor to the Commander of United States Space Force and directed the activities of the command staff to deter enemy aggression and develop combat-ready forces prepared to fight for and preserve US and allied space superiority. General Leonard entered the Air Force in 1992 as a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and has multiple Masters degrees. He also serves on numerous boards and consults with various national level defense companies. 


Andrea kulow- registrar

Andrea Kulow is a dedicated homeschooling mom to her three teenage sons and an advocate for reimagined education. With a diverse background, Andrea brings invaluable experience to Falcon AeroLab, having served as a classroom teacher, managed administrative tasks in a school setting, handled accounts payable/receivable, and contributed to her husband’s small business. 

Andrea is deeply passionate about supporting families as they navigate the landscape of educational choices for their children. Her dedication to fostering personalized experiences shines through in every interaction.

In 2007, Andrea and her native Colorado husband relocated from California to Colorado, drawn by the allure of the mountains. In Andrea’s spare time she can be found paddling her kayak or enjoying all Colorado has to offer her family. 


Cassie Cabello- Business Manager

Cassie Cabello holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Accounting. She also has years of experience in customer service and as a Pharmacy Technician in a behavioral hospital setting. Originally from Georgia she moved to Colorado in 2006 where she currently resides in Colorado Springs with her husband, Patrick and their 2 children. In her free time Cassie likes to spend time with her family, cooking, and curling up to a good book. She is passionate about helping others and believes that any child has the potential to be extraordinary!


Jeff Hyatt- Assistant operations manager

Starting from the age of three years old, Jeff Hyatt was always amazed with parachuting and any kind of flying. There was always a wonder with the freedom that flight provides. He started skydiving and parachute rigging just after graduating high-school and followed up by working for the Air Force Academy Parachute Team as a FAA Senior Parachute Rigger and United States Parachute Association Accelerated Free-fall Instructor. He then went on to get his private airplane and helicopter private pilot's license. Jeff then was taken out of aviation for a season due to medical complications linked to alcoholism. After many health problems Jesus intervened on His behalf, changed his life forever and healed him of all health problems. He recently graduated from Charis Bible College then went on to work at the "Springs Rescue Mission". Now, Jeff's primary purpose is to serve God wherever the Lord leads. He has a passion to help people and loves to see young people discover their gifts and callings.


lindsay peters- Accounts payable specialist

Lindsay was born in England and has lived overseas for almost a third of her life. Those experiences led Lindsay to working towards a degree in multimedia graphic design. Additionally she participated in the AeroLab Advanced Drone program and is now a licensed FAA commercial drone pilot. She finds great value in the AeroLab programs, has personally benefited from this unique program and enjoys working within this community. Some hobbies include reading, working out, and being outdoors. 


Robin pinchoff- Accounts RECEIVABLE specialist

Robin grew up in Colorado as a military daughter to an Air Force Lt. Col and has always had an interest in flying. Had Falcon Aerolab been around her in her early years, she would have ventured down the path of being a pilot! Having recently moved back home to take care of her late sister, Robin is excited to be amongst the mountains again. In the process of raising three grown daughters, Robin worked as a sports administrator for both adult and children’s tennis programs for over 20 years at the Sports Club of West Bloomfield. Before joining the Aerolab team, she was the accounts payable clerk for Detroit Public Television in Wixom, MI. Having held that title for 10 years, Robin is excited to bring both her accounting and human resource expertise back out west!
