Informational Video
Falcon AeroLab Cyber Courses for students ages 12+ are opportunities for students to explore various focus areas within the wide discipline of “Cyber”. Each focus area allows students with common interests to work in groups toward their shared goals.
Common to all focus areas is the opportunity to practice problem solving, iterative design, and collaborative learning. Cyber security best practices are critical throughout all engineering disciplines. As such, applicable concepts are presented throughout all areas and students are presented with the opportunity to gain an understanding of how important it is to infuse cyber security best practices throughout the engineering process.
Student will walk away with:
An understanding of how smaller components combine into one complex, technological solution
An understanding of multiple disciplines and how they interrelate and work together (hardware and software)
Confidence that they can solve any technological challenge
An appreciation of the value of taking a risk, trying, failing, evaluating, learning, and growing!

Foundations of Computers, Electronics & Cyber Careers
This class breaks down how computers actually work, from circuits and processors to software and simple coding. Students get hands-on with real hardware, build basic projects, and learn how everyday tech like phones, robots, and gaming systems function behind the scenes. It’s a beginner-friendly way to build real skills and explore career paths in tech and cyber.

Introduction to Cybersecurity
This class gives students a real look at how cybersecurity works, from threats and vulnerabilities to networks, encryption, and risk. They get hands-on labs, build virtual environments, and learn to think like a defender instead of a passive user. It’s built for students who want to sharpen their logic, grow real technical skill, and see what a future in cyber could look like.

Advanced Cybersecurity
This class is for students who already know the basics and want to push deeper into the real work of cybersecurity. It leans hard into reading, discussion, and breaking down complex ideas like crypto, risk, cloud, and security frameworks, with hands-on work to back it up. It’s built for students who are ready to think sharply, ask harder questions, and handle more advanced concepts.

Programming in Python
This class teaches students how to think in code using Python while building a shared project from scratch. Everyone takes responsibility for parts of the build, learns how to review each other’s work, and practices real problem-solving instead of copy-paste guessing. It’s beginner friendly, but strong coders can stretch their skills by taking on harder pieces of the project.
