Fledglings

The Fledglings Program is a hands-on, exploration-based learning experience designed especially for students ages 6–8. It encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration of the world around them. Through fun investigations and guided discovery, students build confidence as they learn how things work and why they matter.

Students explore foundational science and early engineering concepts through interactive, age-appropriate activities that emphasize observation, problem-solving, and cause and effect. Learning happens through movement, building, experimenting, drawing, and discussion, helping students stay engaged while developing important skills like critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. Real-life connections and seasonal themes make learning meaningful and exciting for young learners.

The program is enriched with special experiences such as field trips, guest visitors, and hands-on demonstrations that bring learning beyond the classroom. These experiences help students connect classroom learning to the real world while encouraging independence and curiosity.
