Falcon AeroLab Lab Fee Assistance Scholarship Policy
Scholarship Review
An independent Review Committee will convene to review scholarship applications. Recipients will be selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.
Approved scholarship money will automatically be credited to the student’s account at Falcon AeroLab, and the family will be notified.
Falcon AeroLab is committed to providing equitable access to high-quality STEM, aerospace, and aviation learning experiences. Scholarships and fee reductions are awarded based on a combination of financial need, student motivation, potential for growth, and contributions to the learning community.
Scholarship decisions are made by a designated review team using a standardized rubric to ensure fairness and consistency. All applications are evaluated holistically, with attention to both the student’s goals and the family’s stated financial circumstances.
Scholarship awards are limited and dependent on available funding each year. Previous scholarship recipients may reapply, but awards are not guaranteed. All information submitted in the application is used solely for scholarship evaluation and is kept confidential.

Scholarship Application Evaluation
How Scholarship Applications Are Evaluated
To ensure fairness, each application is reviewed using a clear scoring guide. Students are evaluated in four areas:
1. Purpose for Applying
We look for a clear explanation of why the student wants to join Falcon AeroLab and what interests them about STEM or aviation.
2. Scholarship Impact
Students explain how financial support would help them participate and pursue their goals.
3. Strengths & Contributions
We consider the qualities the student brings to the program — such as curiosity, teamwork, leadership, or perseverance.
4. Financial Need Statement
Families share why financial assistance is important for their participation.
Each section is scored from 1 to 4, and decisions are made holistically based on the full application and available funding.
